LOST III

I didn't know that they weren't showing new episodes last week. Turned out to be a repeat, which sucked :( As is this week... A total bummer because I told y'all to watch it. Sorry about that.

LOST II

So even though Lost is my favorite show (ever!), this season has not been capturing my attention. I've been somewhat disappointed in the plot and where it is all going. Characters are acting, well, out of character. Also, while the time travel is interesting, it can be difficult to follow. The show feels like a bad episode of Star Trek, Early Edition, and Days of Our Lives thrown together.

I can't imagine that Lost is picking up new fans at this poing. There is too much going on: the plot is too thick and the characters are well developed, even though their motives seem to be continually changing. My boyfriend and I were watching the new episode last night. He has only seen the show a few times, so he knows a little bit about the plot. When we were watching last night, however, the questions about what was going on, who was who, and why are they doing that were never-ending. I'm glad I Tivo'd it!

If you haven't watched it before, check it out, see how intricate it is, and blog back about what you thought please!

LOST

Lately, I haven't found the time or haven't had the enthusiasm to watch television. However, Lost is one show that I cannot live without. The intricate details, the well-developed characters, and the man-candy are only a few of the many reasons why this show is truly amazing.

ABC first aired Lost in September of 2004. Four complete seasons later, the show has come a long way. The plot has thickened, the characters are deep, and the future is still unknown.

This link is a good recap of the first four seasons:

The fifth season began on January 21 (the day spring semester started coincidentally) with a recap of last season's episodes and two new episodes, all back to back. ABC offers free viewings of all the episodes, even from previous seasons.

One cool thing about this show it that it was created by J.J. Abrams, who created Alias and Cloverfield. While Cloverfield was a unique and visionary film (read: it sucked), Alias was one of my favorite shows before Lost. His vision for the show has been uplifting. On one hand, Abrams brings creativity, mystery, and edge to Lost. One the other hand, however, his vision only lasts 6 seasons. Yup, he's ending the show next season no matter what... so you'd better hop in while the excitement of new episodes on Wednesday nights at 9 is still with us!

(haha, I made my blog into an ad for lost....)
